Bid Officer

Work Location:  Kowloon Bay
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing bids in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from customers
  • To fully co-ordinate sales strategy, technical design, project management and commercial inputs leading to obtaining authorization in line with current corporate governance
  • To meet the qualification in a structured manner, identifying any areas of weakness with an action plan to address issues/concerns
  • Support negotiations at senior levels, within major customers and supplier environments
  • Develop customer relationships and seek opportunities to grow the business
  • To promote the vision and strategy of the Bid Management and of the bids supported. To proactively highlight any areas for improvement and provide solutions and support to resolve them
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business, Engineering or IT discipline
  • 3 years’ solid experience in bid management
  • Previous experience of leading major opportunities through a governance process
  • Document Solution /IT services background is preferable
  • Effective risk management capabilities, working with risk owners to ensure a thorough risk register is in place
  • Internal stakeholder management capabilities up to board level
  • Commercial acumen to ensure deals are commercially viable
  • Proficiency of utilizing PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
